❛HEY. that’s an awful big assumption to make. he’s got HEART, which is more than most people can say. and i bet he makes some girl really happy.❜ she defends ben, that’s a no brainer- but perhaps claiming him as her boyfriend is a bit MUCH, for now at least.
she knows how trinities of high school dream girls work. the hierarchy has been engraved in her since she was young: from the power puff girls, to mean girls, to heathers, to even FUCKING glee. there’s always a leader; the glue keeping the other two- who are seemingly opposite- from tearing each other apart. that proved to be margo from early on. then there’s a bitch; the sort of girl who would cling to power, if she ever got it, and abuse it, which is why she didn’t get it. becca assumed that position with perhaps a bit too much pride. but maybe that’s because all that was remaining was the ditz; the punchline, who was either too sweet, or too stupid to ever stand up for herself, a mindless pawn to assist the other two, the looks, who served no purpose beyond having a decent rack and a friendly smile.
she knows the pecking order, and where she stands, but that doesn’t mean she has to LIKE it. it’s not uncommon that her compassion and optimism are mistaken for ignorance and naivety. she’s no idiot. she got a partial scholarship to DARTMOUTH, for christ’s sake. but she’ll fill the role high school provides her, if it keeps her generally well liked.
❛you know, most the time when someone invites you over to STUDY they don’t actually wanna hit the books.❜ french tips tap against the cover a binder marked as pre-calc. ❛but whatever. fair warning, i’ve got LITERALLY no idea how to do any of this. i’ve been getting answers from that greg kid all year.❜
#i love hoziers look so much#like hes not aggresively attractive in a way that like sets u on fire#but u look at him and ur eyes are like thanks#he’s like the epitome of easy on the eyes#hozier
❛that’s not entirely FAIR, you know.❜ she speaks in defense of the heavily read book in front of her. ❛the notebook has just gotten a bad rep. it’s a GOOD book, subject to hate from boyfriends who criticize it because they’ve got some kind of EMOTIONAL BLOCKADE. ❜
