lacey suffers from an eating disorder not otherwise specified that manifests in something like ANOREXIA NERVOSA ( characterized by diet restriction ) or ORTHOREXIA NERVOSA ( characterized by preoccupation with avoiding unhealthy food ). she mentions margo’s weight as she doesn’t realize that not everyone is as preoccupied with their body image as she is. she also suffers from OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER. not too severe, but she’s mostly fixated on overvalued ideas- she worries that her compulsions are irrational, and desperately tries to mask them. she’s not about to let something like a diagnosis from some old dude that hardly knows her bring her down.
